In-Person Absentee Voting
In-person absentee voting is available at the Great Western Bank, 2nd Floor, at 11 N. 1st Ave. in Marshalltown. Voters must use the north door and wear a mask. The mailing address for absentee ballots remains 1 E. Main St. in Marshalltown, IA 50158. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office will be open for absentee voting until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4.
Additional Notes
Friday, August 28 is the final day to pre-register to vote in the September 8 Special Election. The office of the County Auditor/Recorder will be open until 5:00 p.m. on that date for eligible electors who wish to register in person. Learn more about registering to vote.
